How to play Number Recall
Try Number Recall at your own pace and keep its objective in view. Reproduce each number exactly. A wrong answer ends the current session. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Use the opening round to become familiar with the layout. Look at what changes after your first action.
Review a difficult moment
When a decision goes wrong, compare it with the common mistake described below. Start again only when you intend to leave the current round. Keep the objective visible.
Your goal
Reproduce each number exactly. A wrong answer ends the current session. Read that aim before choosing your first action. Review the board or playing area as it changes.
Step by step
- Select Start again to begin.
- Memorise the displayed number without entering it yet.
- After it disappears, type the number into the answer field.
- Choose Check number; a correct answer opens the next round.
Controls
Use the on-screen controls with a mouse or touch. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Make sure you are interacting with the game rather than the surrounding page.
A useful example
If the number is 3072, enter all four digits in order. Entering 372 misses the zero. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Look for the relevant detail.
Watch out for this
This is a memory game, not a clinical assessment. Compare the situation with the worked example. After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again.
